Directory Structure for the UWP Music Web Site

We will be working on the web pages that are part of the Vocal folder.They are lit, methods, pedagogy, sololit, support, tech, tests, vmmc, and vocal. (I am going to suggest we change the last item vocal to another file name e.g. voclvmmr to avoid having duplicate file names.)You will have the opportunity to work on each of these pages throughout the semester.To make them accessible to you during all open lab hours, each individual web page file will be available to you on a shared directory.

How to access the web page files

4- All the original files from the UWP website are stored in the WEBPAGEfolder.These original html filesfiles are are located in folders which share their filename.

The reason for this is to make a common space for both

the original file and the files that you will be modifying.

It is also to emphasize the relationship between these

folders which was created to mirror the“directory structure”

of the UWP web server.Once you have modified a file you

should use the Save As command to save it to the same folder

but with a different filename . For example Tech could be

saved as Tech2.Otherwise, you will replace the original file

with your file and the originalwill be lost (overwritten).
